Flute & classical guitar concert

The flute & guitar duo of Leighann Narum, guitar and Michelle Grondin-Gergich, flute will perform music featuring composers Eduardo Martin, Charles Saint-Saëns, Gary Schocker, Arthur W. Pryor, David Warin Solomons and Ian Krouse – all who were inspired to compose by their favorite cities, fairy tale or even favorite people, animals and pets. The concert is made possible with the support of the Cultural Programming Fund at Rutgers University-Newark with additional support from Paul Robeson Galleries.

This multilingual performance by artist David Antonio Cruz clashes high art against queer slang, playing with language, music and double entendres particular to Latino and Black underground gay culture

The Paul Robeson Galleries frequently hosts and co-sponsors concerts that are open to the public.  Musicians who have performed in PRG events include: NJ Symphony Orchestra Brass Quartet, Stanley Cowell Jazz Trio, Eco del Sur, Momenta Quartet, Caitlin Warbelow, Hassan Anderson, Leighann Narum, Akua Dixon’s Quartette Indigo, Siren Baroque, and more.
