Experience the First Lady of Song in sound and video touching on over 50 years in the career of the woman who, over 20 years after her death, remains the gold standard. Tad Hershorn of the Institute of Jazz Studies on the Rutgers-Newark campus, who photographed Fitzgerald extensively between 1971 and 1991, will provide an evening of songs and reminiscence of this great artist. This program is presented as a part of the exhibition, Records at Play: The Institute of Jazz Studies @50.
